Physical therapy (PT) is a proven treatment option for addressing issues and dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system and internal organs. The goal of physical therapy is to promote or restore the body’s mobility, strength, and functionality. We utilize both active exercises, where you actively move and passive techniques supported by the therapist, which may include massage-like mobilizations.

Equipment-based physical therapy (PT equipment) helps you address acute and chronic issues of the musculoskeletal system, as well as neurological and other health limitations. Using various fitness equipment such as machines, dumbbells, foam rollers, kettlebells, boxes, and cable pulleys, we work together to strengthen your muscle power, improve your endurance and coordination, and regulate muscle tension.

Manual therapy (MT) is a treatment method that uses targeted manual techniques directly on your joints, spine, or damaged muscle and connective tissue structures. The goal is to alleviate pain and improve your mobility. Specialized mobilization and soft tissue techniques are employed, providing optimal preparation for active therapy.

Before and after surgery, we provide supportive care: During preparation, we strengthen your muscles, enhance your mobility, and provide thorough guidance. In post-operative care, we help you regain mobility, rebuild muscle strength, and improve body coordination, ultimately supporting you with exercises for long-term health maintenance.

Sports physiotherapy is specifically tailored to the needs of active individuals and athletes. It helps treat injuries that may occur during training or competition and promotes fast and effective rehabilitation. Additionally, it is used to optimize physical performance and prevent overuse injuries. Through personalized treatments such as targeted exercises, massages, mobilizations, and taping, sports physiotherapy supports a quick return to sport and ensures long-term improvements in flexibility, strength, and endurance.

In (Kinesio-)Taping, elastic cotton adhesive tapes are applied to the skin with specific tension and stretching patterns. This technique stimulates skin and connective tissue receptors, thereby helping to regulate pain and muscle tension.

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle massage technique where light, soothing stretching stimuli are applied to the skin and subcutaneous tissue. This stimulates lymph flow and helps to break down excess fluid in the tissue. Additionally, the treatment can relieve pain and relax the muscles, providing an overall lighter feeling in the body.

Classical massage therapy (CMT) is a specialized form of massage in which targeted hand techniques are applied to various areas of the body. It helps regulate muscle tension, positively influences the nervous system, and alleviates pain through improved circulation and targeted stimuli. Other massage techniques include segmental massage (SM), connective tissue massage (CTM), periosteal massage (PM), and colon massage (CM).

Heat therapy (HT) offers various applications to enhance your well-being. It can be applied through soothing mud packs or the “hot roll,” for example. Both methods promote circulation, relax the muscles, and help alleviate pain. The heat penetrates deeply into the tissue, relieving tension and supporting regeneration – ideal for preparing for further therapeutic measures or simply for relaxation.

Cold therapy can be applied in various ways, such as through cold packs, which have a range of positive effects on your body. They help reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, and influence muscle tone. Additionally, the cold promotes a local reactive hyperthermia, where blood flow increases after the cold application, aiding the healing process. This form of therapy is particularly beneficial for acute injuries or to quickly relieve discomfort.

Medical training therapy (MTT) is a targeted, individually tailored form of exercise that focuses specifically on restoring and improving physical performance. It is used in rehabilitation after injuries, surgeries, or for chronic complaints, to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and improve overall fitness. Under the guidance of experienced therapists, MTT utilizes various training equipment and exercises that are optimally tailored to your needs and goals. This promotes quick recovery and achieves long-term stability and prevention.

The Recovery Boots provide an effective form of dynamic air compression therapy. Air chambers fill up, gently conforming to your skin and generating a mechanical massage through targeted pressure regulation. This treatment helps reduce swelling, relax muscles, and alleviate pain, supporting the recovery process.
